How We Designed a Dream Villa in Marbella – Interview in El Mueble
When we spoke with El Mueble about our interior design project in Marbella, we knew it would be a great opportunity to showcase not just the final result, but also the soul and the story behind each design choice. This home, with its exceptional natural light and privileged location, allowed us to create a space where elegance and freshness come together in perfect balance.
From the moment we stepped into this residence in Sierra Blanca, we knew we had an incredible foundation to work with. The uniquely designed windows and the home's classic structure became the pillars upon which we built our interior design proposal in Marbella. 1. A HOME TAILORED TO THE OWNER
The owner of this house had a clear vision: he wanted an elegant yet warm and functional space where he could enjoy his daily life surrounded by beauty and comfort. It was a pleasure working with him, as he fully trusted our expertise, allowing us to play with textures, materials, and colors to create a harmonious home.

2. THE EXPERIENCE WITH EL MUEBLE
Welcoming the El Mueble team was an enriching and exciting experience. It was an honor to share our creative process with them, explaining the decisions we made to transform each space and seeing how their expert eye captured the home’s unique character. As we toured the spaces, we discussed the importance of natural light, the selection of materials, and how we created a dialogue between classic and contemporary styles without losing the house’s identity.

3. EACH SPACE WITH ITS OWN STORY
During the photo shoot, every corner came to life in a special way. From the living area, where linen sofas, blue-toned cushions, and natural wood pieces create a relaxed and cozy atmosphere, to the dining room, where a large wooden table paired with upholstered chairs adds a sophisticated touch. The combination of noble materials such as marble, limestone, and wood was key.
In the interview, our interior designer, Rocío Muñoz Fuentes, takes us behind the scenes of the project, revealing the challenges and inspirations behind every detail.
