Exclusive Design in Marbella: What We Did to Redecorate This Luxury Villa
When we took on the project of this stunning home in Sierra Blanca, Marbella, we knew its essence lay in three key elements: light, views, and its classic architectural foundation. At M&B Interior Design, our mission was to enhance these features, blending traditional elegance with contemporary details to create a timeless and sophisticated space.
HOME DECOR SIERRA BLANCA
1. A CLASSIC FOUNDATION WITH MODERN TOUCHES
This villa had a solid and well-preserved structure but needed an update to suit the lifestyle of its owners. We keep its classic essence while enriching it with modern elements, achieving a perfect balance between history and modernity.
One of the most significant challenges was the staircase in the hall. We softened its angular lines to give it a more fluid and elegant flow, harmonizing with the impressive Art Nouveau-style windows. These windows add character and evolve over time with exposure to light.

2. SPACES THAT EXUDE ELEGANCE AND COMFORT
For the living area, we selected rattan outdoor furniture combined with decorative elements, creating a cozy and natural atmosphere. In the living room, the fireplace and the custom-designed bookshelf serve as a focal point with great visual impact.
Shades of blue and white became a guiding theme, bringing freshness and cohesion to the entire home. From cushions and armchairs to side tables, each element was carefully chosen to reinforce this aesthetic.

3. DETAILS THAT MAKE THE DIFFERENCE
The dining room is defined by its crystal chandeliers, inspired by classic designs but with a contemporary twist. As a counterpoint, a large custom-made painting becomes the focal element, balancing the visual composition with the fireplace in the living room.
In the kitchen, we decided to keep the original cabinetry, enhancing it with new gold handles and a porcelain countertop that mimics marble, achieving a subtle yet impactful transformation.
4. A BEDROOM WITH ITS OWN CHARACTER
The master bedroom is a haven of calm and sophistication. We opted for a palette of white and seafoam green, reflected in the double-striped wallpaper, bedding, and decorative details.
The study, strategically located next to one of the home's beautiful windows, has become an inspiring space. A floral rug and a leather-detailed desk add warmth and personality to this inviting environment.
5. A LUXURIOUS BATHROOM WITH UNMATCHED VIEWS
The master bathroom is filled with luxury. We chose Italian travertine marble combined with matte black accents for a contemporary touch. The sculptural bathtub was placed on a raised platform to maximize the visual experience, allowing for breathtaking sea views.
